Retirement Sample Poems
A retirement can be bitter sweet. On the one hand a person may be looking forward to retirement - more free time to enjoy hobbies and be with the family. On the other, there can a reluctance to leave behind the old life, especially friends and work colleagues that in retirement will be greatly missed.
On that last day in work or at the retirement party, a personalised retirement poem can provide a way of letting that person know just how much they are valued and will be missed, in both a poignant and humorous fashion.
